TMG wraps up another successful UASET+DB class

August 29, 2022

“Great Course! Really beneficial info/experience for upcoming threats.” – Ian G.

“I enjoyed the discussions had in class about audio & visual info on UAS. I felt as SF, having that info benefits us.” – Jans V.

“Awesome!” – Dr. James B.

Collated Student Test and Evaluation Data

A total of 11 students participated in UASET+DB and every student’s response has been collated.  Each participant was given a Pre-Test at the beginning of the course both to evaluate the overall knowledge level of this particular UASET+DB class and to provide a baseline to evaluate the effectiveness of the training.  At the completion of the course, students were again asked to complete a similar evaluation in order to quantify the effectiveness of the training.

USAET-DB Student Progression/Training Results

Below shows that UASET+DB students demonstrated a marked increase in topic knowledge from the Pre-Test to the Post Test.

UASET-DB Results

Average Pre-Test Score: 55

Average Post-Test Score: 86

Average Score Increase: 55%

(31-point average score increase)

Student Feedback

Based on their evaluation of these specific categories and sub-factors, we ask students to provide us with an overall evaluation from the following five options. Extremely Satisfied, Satisfied, Neutral, Dissatisfied and Extremely Dissatisfied.

In total, we received 82% Extremely Satisfied, 18% Satisfied, 0% Dissatisfied and 0% Extremely Dissatisfied.

Summary

Based on the 55% average increase in knowledge check tests, the overwhelmingly positive critiques and the growing confidence course participants displayed as the course progressed, culminating in 100% successful / air worthy UAS Builds, we view this iteration to be an unmitigated success.  Regardless of the quality of curriculum/Instructor Cadre, this outcome could only be achieved with positive participant attitudes and professionalism. We at Threat Management Group want to thank you for making this iteration so successful.  We would be proud to host you and/or your team in the future for any of your additional training needs.
