UAS Training

In response to emerging UAS threats, TMG worked collaboratively with our network of SOF, JSEOD, Security Experts, and well established commercial UAS/UAV companies to develop the UAS Emerging Threat (UASET) course. This course is designed to provide students that require a better understanding of the UAS threat with the skills necessary to identify and mitigate the hazards associated with a hostile UAS.

During UASET, students learn to identify different UAS platforms and their specific capabilities and limitations. Through Instructor demonstrations and practical exercises, students gain an understanding of various UAS capabilities/limitations, perform live-fire mitigation techniques, observe/experience the effectiveness of specialty anti-UAS ammunition, perform UAS flight operations, identify unique UASET hazards and have an opportunity to perform UAS “Dropper” operations.
